I seriously had so much fun designing and sewing these few designs. I’ll be turning a few of them into pins and they’ll be up on my shop soon.

9/100: Halloween Bat

Back when I was in Singapore, Halloween wasn’t that big of a thing, other than the usual scarefests at Universal Studios and costume parties at the clubbing areas. There wasn’t trick or treating, even though the supermarkets still sold Halloween candy.

I took a break from designing cross stitched toys to make this Halloween bat. I hope you all had a spooky Halloween!

I think one of my most favourite thread to work with is DMC’s Glow in the Dark, also known as E940. I just can’t imagine how they’ve managed to create thread that can glow in the dark, the science behind it is beyond me but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with this very unique “colour” to create these little ghosts for Halloween.
